My Journey to Beauty Excellence
From a young age, I've been passionate about the beauty industry. The idea of helping women feel confident and beautiful, while also finding joy and fulfillment in my work, was a dream I couldn't ignore. With the support of my fiancé, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in beauty college. A year later, I emerged as a qualified Makeup and Nail Artist, ready to start my own beauty salon.
Overcoming Challenges
Starting out, my biggest challenge was working with strangers. As a beginner, my technique in nails and makeup wasn't perfect, and my confidence wavered. But I was determined to be the best. Through persistence and dedication, I improved my skills and people skills, eventually becoming one of the top artists in my town.
What Keeps Me Going
Belief in oneself and one's skills is crucial. I'm driven by the desire to be a little better each day and to be the best choice for my clients. The joy and satisfaction on a client's face after a treatment are what motivate me to keep going.

Experience and Success
I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2014, specializing in nails and makeup. Some highlights of my career include:
- Placing 3rd in the CIDESCO Makeup competition in 2015, competing against students from all over South Africa.
- Building my salon into one of the best in my town, with a consistent nail client base of about 100 clients per month in less than three years.
- Working on numerous weddings, photoshoots, and themed events as a makeup artist since 2015.
